The second quarter of 2021 brought varied performance metrics for the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in Sweden. Below is a detailed analysis based on data from Sensor Tower.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker saw a consistent rise in both weekly downloads and revenue. Downloads peaked at approximately 1.3K in the last week of June, while revenue reached around $1.9K in the same period. Active users also increased steadily, from 8K at the end of March to nearly 8.9K by the end of June.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines experienced a gradual increase in downloads, ending the quarter with close to 1K weekly downloads. Active users followed a similar trend, starting from 1.4K in late March and reaching nearly 2K by the end of June.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save showed a notable uptick in weekly downloads, hitting a peak of around 600 by the final week of June. Active users grew from approximately 2K at the end of March to over 2.7K by the end of the quarter.

Ryanair also saw an increase in downloads, with numbers reaching close to 800 per week by the end of June. Active users climbed from about 3.2K at the beginning of April to approximately 3.7K at the end of June.
